RGB lights help get the best possible images and videos! we had been using this studio lights in our latest videos and they had been a great helps, now there is not need to do Photoshop on the pictures taken nor light fixing on the videos since they come out right at once based on the fact that we can regulate the lights and do a trial before filming, having the 2 pack is the best option because you can fix the light in both sides!

I’ve used these lights for Zoom conferences by placing one on either side of my desk. The supplied barn doors are very useful for keeping the light off the computer monitor and minimizing light on the background. One of the two lights worked, but the knob to change color temperature had no effect. I contacted GVM’s customer service and they replaced the light right away at no charge, including paying the shipping to return the partially defective one. Great lights and great service.

With the equivalent of 50W worth of output, these are some powerful panels! GVM includes plenty of diffusion between the slide-in option and the attachable panel, and the barn doors are a little better at keeping light from leaking than the old generation of the 50RS line. RGB controls are solid and intuitive, and the modes are easy to set and use. Rotate mode allows you to control the features by rotating the knobs, then it also has wifi and wireless control modes that are super handy. The case is fantastic, and easily fits all of the parts included in the kit. Will post a video soon, but I would definitely recommend trying these lights out!

Nice, compact and easy to use. I gifted this to my non-technical son to use in his college photography class. Portable and stores well in his small dorm room.
The user manual is not well written. In fact, tech-support suggest ¡°you not read the user manual.¡± But go for first hands on user experience. The app, known as ¡®GVM easily¡¯ available from the Apple or play store makes controlling the lights a snap.
I found the GVM Website noisey with overbearing sales traffic. The California-based technical support office, was extremely helpful in finding the right app , answering technical questions, and initial setup. This helped me side step bad reviews and misleading information about equipment configuration issues.

Over the past few years I have purchased many LED panels but none of them have been RGB, a few daylight and many bi-color panels and I resorted to gelling the lights to use them as accent lighting for video and photos alike. But now I have finally taken the leap and purchased these GVM 50RS RGB panels to make things easier, and boy do they ever.
First off let me say I was taken back by the weight of this package. The Amazon driver pulled up as I was by the truck so I had him put it directly in the back of my truck so I had no clue how heavy it was. Well I get back to the house (I live on the 2nd floor in the back) and I went to pick the box up and carry it into the house, but little did I know but this thing weighed like almost 40 lbs. So I get it in the house and open it up and it was as large as the box it was in. And inside was a very nice carry case with all the goodies neatly packed inside. Once I started taking the panels out I figured out way it weighs so much….. These lights are built like tanks… The main body and bracket are full aluminum build with the body having fins on the back, the only part that is plastic is the barn doors, defuser sheet and the control interface. It includes 3 bricks for power and 3 light to medium duty light stands that seem to be of decent quality. The lights themselves are pretty bright, around 45-50 watt range but the best part is the colors it is capable of creating is wonderful. The colors are so deep and rich in color, something that is harder to do with gels. I feel that having this level of versatility will really step up my game. Overall I am very pleased with my new set of lights and look forward to more GVM products in the future.

This was a pretty easy kit to get going out of the box. I was able to assemble everything within 15 minutes, dial in my desired colors and shoot some killer photos. I should’ve read the description to see that it takes 2 batteries per lamp, but that’s my fault. Overall, great for home studios, small studios and streamers. I didn’t mess with the app because I know anything that advertises app functionality that’s not developed by a reputable company is probably garbage. The buttons and knobs on the back of the panel were intuitive enough that I got magenta and cyan dialed in within minutes. The carrying case it comes with is very handy as well, I can see me taking this out to outdoor night shoots very frequently. Now I just need more batteries.

One of my tripods is missing parts so it won¡¯t stand upright which defeats the purpose; it will fall over with the heavy light since I can not secure it. The manufacturer GM said he¡¯d send me a replacement tripod and weeks have gone by with no reply to my follow up emails and nothing in the mail. Amazon CS was trying to assist me for well over an hour before I was connected to the 3rd party directly and all parties on the 3-way call thought the issue was resolved when the GM said he¡¯d mail me a new tripod so I wouldn¡¯t have to fuss with replacement parts, returning all 3 light kits, etc. It¡¯s been 3.5 weeks. When I call it goes to a full VM box and that persists over weeks. Another reviewer had said the seller was impossible to reach. I feel deflated from this experience.
Update: GVM reached out to me and my email inbox was full, so I didn¡¯t know they were trying! All is rectified now and they¡¯ve exceeded my expectations¡ªyay!!

Excellent lights for youtubers and interviewers. They are very compact and easy to use.
I used to carry 3 C-stands, modifiers and a case of lights, now I only carry this light set and done. I always carry them to every shoot in case I need them. If you are starting a YouTube channel or need some cheap RGB alternatives, this kit is very powerful.
Note: it comes with a diffuser that you attach to the front of the light to make the light softer. This is a plus.

These lights can do everything. For the price they are extremely great. They have diffusers, barn doors, you can change the white light color AND have a full hue spectrum and change the saturation. I am super impressed with these lights and use them constantly at work.

Absolutely love these lights! Super bright with just one set up I was impressed. I love the different modes and adjustability. Came with an awesome case for storage I still might get a hard case with wheels as these are pretty heavy with everything in the case it surprised me! Would highly recommend worth every penny!

The quality of this lighting set is far better then I thought it would be for the price. When I opened the package I noticed that one of the fasteners had cosmetic damage (See picture) but everything else worked. I contacted the seller who sent me replacement fasteners. This seller is very good and replying to their customers. I highly recommend this seller.

Great flexibility with having full temperature range of white light that is dimmable. Added to that is the dialable RGB colors which do away with the need for gels. The primary diffuser works great, the additional mounted diffuser is really wonderful. Shipping this light kit with barn doors and light stands in such a compact package is worth every penny paid. This will be a great addition to anyone’s AV kit.

Lights are very versatile and easy to set up. I do wish the app was better, but fortunately it¡¯s easy to use the lights without it. Had a defect on one light, but customer service was incredible and solved the issue within an hour of emailing them. Can¡¯t recommend these enough.

As lights they do exactly what I need. The kit came with decent stands, and soft filters. My only issue has been the mobile app on Android. Many issues connecting, my Luxli Bluetooth app is light years better.

I like these lights, set up quick & easy & are as sturdy you I expected for inexpensive lights. Color temp is true, my cameras WB to the same temperature the lights are set to. They¡¯re not a bright as I would like so I have to put the lights closer to the talent than I would like. Stands are more sturdy than I expected for a lightweight stand. Everything fits into the provided soft side bag with room for cables, etc.
I haven¡¯t used the remote, so I can¡¯t comment on that.
You can change the color temperature by turning down 1 bank of LEDs. Because the lights aren¡¯t too bright to begin with, if you do that you greatly reduce the amount of light the lamps put out which then requires you to move the lights even closer.
Overall I¡¯m happy with the lights. For me, the additional price, size & weight required to step up to better lights isn¡¯t worth it.

I absolutely love the wifi connect with the smart phone via app. It’s amazing. At the touch of a button I can select from a spectrum of colors, brightness, and softness. The tripods are of a good quality and the carrying case makes my investment stay in good condition for the duration is its life. I’m glad I decided to go with GVM. Also, I had an issue with a missing part and it was resolved quickly and efficiently. Thank you GVM.
